Inspired by the heat of Summer these images are the beginnings of a personal project for Haku Vodka to learn more about sun dappling in CGI and how best to approach it from using mesh branches and trees to having an alpha mask on a plane or a combination of the two! Big shout out to @brian-rodgers-jr for his top tip a few weeks back of disabling in Photoshop the save with compression. Been using Photoshop with that ticked on for last couple of weeks and I have to say everything saves MUCH quicker and I am now so used to not waiting at 83% for things to finish saving you just don’t even realise anymore.
