Also add more green to the texture around the patters and experiment with it a bit more. Good luck.

If it was it wouldn’t be a craft. Most of your energy is going to go into lighting and composition and there’s simply no workaround. You just have to spend the time and over time is going to be become your second nature. Afterall we are simply shaping the final image with light.
